The current POCO lineup includes a small number of models with dedicated bypass charging support.
POCO X8 5G
The POCO X8 5G supports bypass charging alongside its 67W wired charging system. The phone uses a 9,000mAh battery and runs HyperOS 3, making it one of the newer POCO models aimed at users who want long battery life alongside gaming focused power management. Its bypass charging support is a genuine feature of the phone, not simply an 80 percent battery limit.

POCO X8 Power 5G
The POCO X8 Power 5G also supports bypass charging. Its huge 10,000mAh battery is paired with 100W wired charging and 27W wired reverse charging. For extended gaming sessions, bypass charging gives the X8 Power another way to manage heat and battery use while the phone remains connected to a charger.
Does the POCO X8 Pro Max Support Bypass Charging?
No. The POCO X8 Pro Max does not currently offer true bypass charging, despite some early reports suggesting otherwise. The phone supports 100W charging, smart charging and 27W wired reverse charging, but those features should not be confused with bypass charging. Smart charging manages how and when the battery charges, while bypass charging changes the power path so the battery can be taken out of the active power supply. This distinction is important if bypass charging is one of the main reasons you are considering a POCO phone.

POCO F7 and POCO F6 Bypass Charging
The POCO F7 and POCO F6 have useful battery protection features, but they should not be listed as phones with native bypass charging.
The POCO F7 does not support bypass charging. Its battery protection system can stop charging at 80 percent, which can help reduce battery wear, but it does not provide the same dedicated bypass function. The POCO F6 also offers an 80 percent charging limit and other battery protection features. 80 percent charging limit: The phone stops charging the battery after it reaches the selected limit. The phone can continue operating while connected to the charger, but that does not automatically mean it has a dedicated bypass power path.
An 80 percent limit is still useful for battery health, especially if you regularly leave your phone connected to a charger. It should not, however, be described as true bypass charging.
What About Older POCO Phones?
Older POCO models such as the POCO F5 and POCO X6 Pro do not have a dedicated native bypass charging option in their standard software.
Some enthusiasts have used custom kernels, root tools or other modifications to control charging behaviour on supported hardware. These methods are different from having bypass charging built into the phone and are not something you should treat as an official feature.

How to Use Bypass Charging on Supported POCO Phones
If your POCO phone has native bypass charging, the option should appear in the gaming interface when supported.

The POCO X8 Pro Max also should not be included in a true bypass charging list.
